23 April, 2024Abacus Careers Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Site IT Administrator to join its team at the Omagh site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the delivery and administration of IT services within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of IT/IS service delivery and administration at the Omagh site.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain Office365 configuration and support, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint online to support collaboration and document management needs.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite to enhance productivity across the organization.
- Employ excellent fault-finding capabilities to identify and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- Manage computer hardware setup and configuration to meet operational requirements.
- Possess a clean driving license and access to a car for site visits and travel.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in site service delivery, demonstrating a deep understanding of IT support operations.
- Proficient in Office365 configuration and support, with a proven track record of successful implementation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint online for effective collaboration and document management.
- Thorough understanding of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional fault-finding capability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficient in computer hardware setup and configuration.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Possession of a clean driving license and access to a car for business travel.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in mobile phone management and configuration support.
- Knowledge of retail production lines and food processing equipment.
- Familiarity with Innova Production System, Microsoft Dynamics, or iLeader.
- Experience working in a team environment with an understanding of the food industry and quality control processes.
- ITIL qualification demonstrating knowledge of IT service management best practices.
- Experience with IT helpdesk software to streamline support processes.
