We support Ukraine, now and always.

We support Ukraine, now and always.

Donations made to Abacus Offices at Howard Street

When Putin’s Russian forces invaded Ukraine on 24th February this year, we were all shocked.  The pictures of women, children and the infirm having to leave their own country to seek refuge and safety appalled us.

Emotions quickly turned to an outrage that spurred a strong motivation.  As a result, people right across the globe have mobilised into action, they asked themselves ‘What can I do to help the people affected?’

Our quickly drafted appeal generated a large volume of donated items. Thanks to all those individuals and companies that have helped out, the response has been outstanding.

In my near 20 years as a business owner, I have never been more proud of the efforts of my colleagues.  In a few short days, the Abacus team has worked hard to generate donations and collections, purchase key items, organise and deliver donated items, all while undertaking their normal work commitments.

When the time came to stand up and help, that is what we did.  The hardship and suffering being caused to the Ukrainian people is wholly unjustified.  The team at Abacus will continue to support in all the ways we can.  I hope you will too.
