Senior Manager – Security Risk & Compliance

Abacus are working on a Senior Manager – Security Risk & Compliance role, with a global professional services firm based in Belfast, offering remote working across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity ideally suited to someone who has served in a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) capacity in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities:

• Think holistically about risk management including information security and how as part of an enterprise risk strategy you can deliver a prioritised order for risk reduction through corrective action 
• Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the wider organisation in all aspects regarding risk and compliance
• Achieve and maintain alignment to various compliance obligations based on a risk management framework that you will help develop and own 
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to achieve effective security outcomes
• Provide ongoing guidance and consultation to the organisation on risk management, including risk and control policies and processes
• Develop and maintain risk reporting and analytics to stakeholders, as well as to maintain and inform the risk management framework 

Experience:

• Third party risk management experience 
• Demonstrated approach to Risk Management, including development of risk management frameworks and supporting policies  
• Familiarisation with ISO 31000 and COSO internal control guidelines
• Ability to identify security risk exposures in contract negotiation 
• Effective analytics skills
