IT Technician

Abacus Careers are delighted to be working with a top employer food distribution client based in Coleraine who is seeking an IT Technician. The individual will be responsible in the smooth operations of the IT Operations such as overseeing hardware and software issues, managing ticketing systems and other typical IT Systems administration.

Essential: 

The ideal candidate will be qualified and experienced in the following areas:

Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.

Familiarity with IT systems and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

IT Skills/experience:

Capable with resolution of hardware and software issues

Good understanding of Microsoft office 365

Great networking experience

Experience with Active Directory

Ability to work with customers in a friendly manner when handling issues
