Cloud Applications – Senior Manager

Abacus are delighted to be working with a global legal firm on a Cloud Applications – Senior Manager role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cloud Applications Architect to come on board to shape this role and build a team from the ground up.

You will have experience across a range of business applications and be accountable for designing, building and maintaining the corporate application ecosystem in alignment with the wider technology roadmap and business strategy.

As a member of this team you’ll be responsible for overseeing and developing the applications globally.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, vision and direction to the Business Applications Team to ensure you contribute to business success
• Responsible for the architectural design, best practice building and maintenance of firms application portfolio.
• Working with senior IT leadership to develop application strategy aligned with business strategy
• Partner with service and application providers to configure and implement new solutions
• Act as the key technology architect for firms application ecosystem
• Work closely with business analysis team to convert business requirements into solutions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in managing applications within a relevant background in a technical or business field.
• Have held a senior technical architecture role in a professional environment
• Experience of managing 3^rd party vendors and advising on new technical applications solutions
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
