Commercial/Pricing Analyst

Abacus are delighted to be working exclusively alongside one of the country’s most impactful companies within in the importing, sales and distribution space. Despite their continuous success in their over 50 years of operations they remain a tight knit team with a family ethos – while continuing to compete on an international scale.

Capitalising on their going development, they are seeking a commercial/pricing analyst to join the already thriving, dynamic and friendly team. The chosen analyst will play a key role in which they will be reporting to the commercial manager and working closely with the team to support ongoing business improvements.

This role is perfect for an analyst who is seeking to come into a role that offers career progression and ongoing training in a nurturing and educational environment.

What your day will look like:

– Working alongside the commercial manager in order to model different price scenarios

– Importing/exporting using an ERP system

– Ongoing analysis of marking pricing, price changes etc

– Preparation of reports with concise recommendations to managers

What is required?

– Third Level education

– Experience within data analysis

– Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel – spreadsheet & data manipulation skills.

– Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.

What is desired?

– Understanding of a pricing matrix

– Understanding of multi-currency

– Understanding of exchange rates

– Competency in data import and export routines
