Data Scientist

An expert team of data scientists and software engineers seek to add another individual to assist their award winning and cutting-edge work. This innovative and expanding company are literally saving lives through their practise as they assist CRO, healthcare and pharma companies use their data to develop treatments, fight disease and ultimately improve patient outcome.

Their most recent project sees them spearheading AI health screenings across the UK. This company has teamed up with a medical centre, developing and training new AI algorithms for specific diseases through a cloud-enabled platform.

This is not only an opportunity for a skilled data scientist to work with top tier tech from office or should they want to the comfort of their own home (full remote work is an option) but also an opportunity to put their skillset towards something incredible impactful and important to millions of individuals.

What your day will look like:

• Development of critical deep learning algorithms

• Data labelling & cleansing

• Model training & evaluation

• Working closely with the engineering team to facilitate deployment of the algorithm

What is required?

• 2+ years of experience relevant to the stated role

• Proficiency in Python

• Extensive experience in deep learning for computer vision

• Experience using deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras)

What is desired?

•  Experience in image analysis of medical or geospatial images

•  Experience in computational and digital pathology

• Exposure to cloud tech

• Working knowledge of OOP
