Your Role
As part of the Architecture, Data and Engineering team, the successful candidate will:
- Ensure the company has a focus on and maintains an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, processes, standards, and practices to achieve the required level of consistency and quality to meet business needs
- Set the vision for the company’s use of data and manage the company’s data/application catalogues, matrices and diagrams to improve the quality and value of core data assets
- Manage the way that people and programs engage with data, ensuring that data can be turned into valuable insights that inform business decisions.
- Consistently communicate the business benefits of data standards and will champion and govern those standards across the firm.
- Ensure internal procedures keep pace with evolving data regulation and compliance.

The Essentials
- Experience in the development and management of an enterprise data catalogue
- Experience of developing, implementing, and managing a Data Governance and Data Quality Management Framework
- Clear knowledge and experience in the application of data governance, data privacy and data ethics principles
- Strong numeracy and statistical skills
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
What would make you stand out?
- NLP and Machine Learning Experience
- Experience using automated approaches to manage and support data privacy compliance
Tech:
- Power BI
- On-Premise SQL DB
- Delta Lake (DataBricks)
- Good Knowledge required of all Azure data products, including the use cases, advantages and disadvantages
- Data Catalog products (evaluate, design, implement and manage) e.g. Collibra, Azure Purview etc
