An Irish-based food manufacturing company is in search of an IT administrator to provide assistance to all users within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to support the broader business and collaborate with the IT Manager in enhancing and preserving all IT systems.

What you need

  1. Maintain organizations security posture against all threats including malicious.
  2. Identify, resolve and communicate security vulnerabilities throughout organizations forest including remote sites and endpoints.
  3. Respond and action helpdesk ticket system in line with departmental KPI’s
  4. Install, configure and support the use of computer hardware, software and specialized technologies including VMWARE, Windows Server Management, MS Cloud & Hybrid Services, Business Intelligence, Virtual Local Area Networks, 0365 and Azure.
  5. Responsible for database tasks including the administration and development of Structured Query Language.
  6. Provide support and continual improvement for 0365 administration apps including hybrid services.
  7. Understand and support management of company data throughout departments and external parties including retention and backups.
  8. Support an ongoing preventative maintenance and DR strategy.
  9. Provide support for company communications including VOIP, Network Tools and Exchange.
  10. Manage contributors and suppliers to ensure the business receives the highest return in service and SLA’s.
  11. Assist with projects as required and collaborate with 3rd parties to ensure project markers are achieved.
  12. Provide training and support to employees as required.

What you need

  • Experience supporting and developing within a Virtual Environment including VMWare & VStorage.
  • Understanding of Structured Query Language.
  • Knowledge and understanding of network topologies, hardware and protocols.
  • Proactive approach to managing IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office tools and MS server.

Desirable:

  • Experience with accounts systems and processes
  • Knowledge of MS Sharepoint
  • Understanding of DAX
  • Experience managing Cloud applications.
