The Belfast Team’s portfolio in the fire space is growing and our client is looking for gifted Senior Front-end developer to boost their growth. They presently own an application used to track firefighter responsibilities. The goal is to transition up to another four applications in the next year. The team will have full independence over all applications, from implementation right through to delivery into production. Apply now and help support those working daily on the front line!

The Day-To-Day:

• Have substantial influence on the product experiences of thousands of people who will be screening and interacting with your solutions
• Be a fundamental part of the engineering team, with substantial impact on a range of applications that our client builds
• Mentor other developers who wish to grow their front-end understanding.
• Work collaboratively cross-team, in order to impart your knowledge across the organisation.  

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software engineering
• Experience in Angular/ React/ Typescript (or similar UI Framework), Unit testing, mocking frameworks and Git for source control
• Have a profound understanding of OO concepts and design patterns
• Be knowledgeable in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment practices
• Deep understanding of testing philosophy

Desirable

• Exposure to Microservice architectures
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of Domain Drive Design, Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns
