As a Systems Platforms Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining the Firm’s workstation infrastructure through simplification, standardization, and automation. Furthermore, you will empower users with a seamless secondary platform for accessing core applications and documents effortlessly, both within and outside the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and maintenance of a unified global desktop SOE (Standard Operating Environment) encompassing essential software components and configurations, utilizing the cutting-edge capabilities of Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Resolve and troubleshoot issues related to the deployment and management of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Proactively monitor the health and performance of both cloud-based and on-premise devices, swiftly taking corrective measures when necessary.
• Address user connectivity issues pertaining to applications, allocated licenses, devices, and conditional access policies, providing seamless access to vital resources.
• Develop and maintain a standardized global Citrix server baseline build, ensuring efficiency and reliability across the board.
• Nurture and uphold the Firm’s mobile computing environment, catering to the evolving needs of the workforce.
• Utilize your expertise to package core and specialized applications in a consistent and modular manner, enabling efficient publication, deployment, and retrieval as per demand.
• Collaborate in defining hardware standards for new Firm-owned desktop and laptop purchases, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
• Drive the development, review, and implementation of Citrix, Mobile, and Workstation standards, policies, and recommendations to align with evolving requirements.
• Incorporate valuable feedback from local offices into the development of standards and policies, fostering a collaborative and inclusive approach.
• Minimize duplication of effort and re-engineering, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficiency.
• Promote knowledge sharing to reduce incident resolution times and capture valuable insights for future reference.
• Assist in enhancing existing Citrix and MEM (Microsoft Endpoint Manager) toolsets to enhance the user experience across the organization.
• Engage actively in global, regional, and local projects, leveraging your expertise to contribute to successful outcomes.
• Additionally, the Desktop Team provides Tier-3 support and assistance, addressing escalated incidents from local offices as well as other global IT and business services.

Skills and Experience:

• Possess extensive experience in desktop hardware and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp) server/client, supplemented by MCSE and CCA-V certifications, demonstrating your deep knowledge and proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop OS, Group Policies, and AD/AAD, enabling seamless management and configuration.
• Showcase your prowess in building, managing, and maintaining enterprise Citrix farms and their supporting infrastructure components, with a preference for troubleshooting performance issues.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Hyper-V is advantageous, contributing to your versatility and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM), specifically in patching, application delivery, and operating system deployment within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Cloud Technologies and Microsoft 365, providing a solid foundation for seamless integration and collaboration.
• Proficiency in scripting and packaging applications for enterprise deployment, primarily utilizing Visual Basic and PowerShell.
